Thanks to Mr. Rabbitt for taking Advanced Woods students on the Muskegon County manufacturing tour today. Below is a list of all the stops our students made today: Molding Solutions, Inc Eagle Alloy MCC Sturrus Technology Center Quality Tool and Stamping Our students learned what kind of training and skills are needed for a career in manufacturing. From floor operators to engineers, the opportunities are plenty right here in Muskegon County!

Huge thanks to the Michigan chapter of the American Cancer Society and our local Meijer for donating two CPR kits for use in our health classes. This is yet another way that MSHS is preparing to provide the safest possible environment for student and community health and well-being. In addition to covering the content in health class, all staff receive CPR & AED training on an annual basis and all seniors receive hands-on training prior to graduation.

College Planning 101 for Junior and Senior Parents: There will be a College 101 presentation in the Library (LMC) at 5:30pm on October 8 during parent/teacher conferences. We will share a basic timeline for college planning as well as information about the college application process, scholarships and financial aid information.

American Salute concert! Sailor Band, a shining light this morning by performing amazing pieces of music bringing pride to all those in attendance. Thank you Jason Boyden, Justin Sarnes and Nikki for your leadership and to the many parent volunteers who made today possible. An incredible opportunity to honor all those who have served in the military and paid the ultimate sacrifice preserving our freedoms. Special guest speaker Colonol Jason Fettig shared his experiences with the audience and reminded all of us what is most important each day. Thank you for service! Thank you too Guest MC and Alumni Brett Ashcroft for giving back to your community.

Class of 2024 Senior day! Started the day with a senior photo and enjoyed a breakfast served by our amazing staff. Loaded the busses and headed to the elementary schools escorted by NSFD and NSPD. Senior luncheon at Fricanos with special presentations led by the Eboard for Mock Elections. The senior slide show is always filled with special memories. Capped off the day with a Community Senior car parade. Special seniors with many memories shared with family and friends. ⚓️💙

Pop Go the Season 2024 Tis. The Seasons was packed full of amazing song, dance and acting! The bravery, courage,confidence, passion, love and care could be felt radiating from the stage full of talented Sailors. Shawn and Molly thank you for cultivating these beliefs in all of your students! Seniors, wow! Thank you for leaving your legacy! The behind the scenes work to produce a brilliant show is simply remarkable. Sailor Nation is so grateful and proud! 💙⚓️🎼

Congratulations to the Computer animation team of Jacob Schnotala, Koen Holman, & CJ Dunn They have just earned the title of computer animation National Champions at the BPA National Championships An amazing accomplishment for these talented Sailors!
