PORTS OF CALL VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! Our April Students of the Month are top notch! Wonderful conversations with these inspiring students this morning as we celebrated their success. These students were nominated by staff for showing what it truly means to have Sailor PRIDE at MSMS!

These inspiring girls trained for weeks leading up to this past weekend's Celebration 5K for Girls on the Run! We are proud of them for all their accomplishments this season!

The incredible talents of some of our MSMS artists have been on display at the Muskegon Museum of Art for the last month, and they were honored with a reception there tonight. Go check out their art, on display until May 4th! Beautiful work under the guidance of Mrs. Helsen!

This past week we celebrated our March students of the month. Such a great group of young people! Our students of the month are recognized by our school staff, but also by Senator Bumstead, which is the other certificate you see them holding in this pic. We are so proud of them!

Our last Sailor Celebration will be Friday, May 9th from 5:00- 6:30. Tickets will be $4 before the dance and $5 at the door (students can purchase tickets during lunch Wed-Fri the week of Sailor Celebration). There will be an Under the Sea theme, but no need to dress to the theme, or dress up at all! School dress code applies.  Pizza, candy, and beverages will be on sale for $1 and $2 in the cafeteria. There will be karaoke, dancing, a craft, basketball/volleyball and a few other games! We look forward to seeing everyone there.
