Ride With Pride assemblies last week allowed us to celebrate students who signed and followed the RWP pledge all year! A huge shoutout to NSPD, Cindy Jurkas, and Buckle In Muskegon for making this program happen! One 8th grader left with a longboard and a free session of drivers training among other prizes, and we were able to give away a longboard, hammocks, and other prizes to 6th and 7th grade winners as well! Lots of fun, and we are thankful for these awesome community partnerships that promote healthy and safe choices!

Today sure was cold, but our MSMS Girls on the Run team persevered and finished all 3.1 miles with enthusiasm. We are so proud!

We had an INCREDIBLE day wrapping up our Month of Caring! A huge shout out goes to our Student Congress and Peer 2 Peer program for all their work making this such an epic success! Celebrated today with CREW competitions, The Masked Singer, & a Students vs. Staff basketball game!

Last week was amazing at Mona Shores Middle School!! We visited all of our incoming 5th graders (300+) at every elementary school. We also sent students to share the Red Glasses Movement with every 1st, 2nd, & 3rd grade classroom! #msmspride

Middle School boys volleyball team taking on Byron Center in their second match today! They beat Hudsonville earlier and will play in the championship with a win!
Check out our January Students of the Month! We celebrated these Sailors with donuts this morning (better late than never!), and talked about some of their favorite things about MSMS -- classes and teachers, football, the musical, robotics, science camp, and more were mentioned!

We are in need of a Middle School tennis coach for this spring. If we are unable to find a coach soon, we will have to cancel the season. The season will consist of 6 Saturday matches starting on Saturday April 13th and ending on Saturday May 18th. The coach will be able to set practice times and days and will receive a stipend for coaching.
