Halloween 2023!

A day we will all remember! The lights flickered and the power went out at MSHS the last 15 minutes of class. Sailors at dismissal were calm and patient. Some went to their cars to find 8 inches of snow. As cars were stuck and the snow had to be uncovered, many Sailors helped one another. As traffic lights were out and the cars backed up….the patience continued.  Little did we know that we would have our first snow day of the year and no power in the area. We are very proud of our Sailors for adapting and overcoming a challenging 24 hours.

Trunk or Treat a Huge Success!

On Monday, October 30th approximately 1,000 Sailor Community members participated in the first ever Trunk or Treat event at MSHS. A senior project created by Hannah Durham brought smiles to many who were dressed up in costume. Thank you for your hard work Hannah! And to all of those who contributed to the trunks!

An amazing event! All of the proceeds went to MSHS Hope Squad.

Senior Mock Interviews held today!

Special thank you to Business Teacher Traci Hackney for her work to coordinate community members to conduct interviews for our Seniors. This course is a graduation requirement. Seniors complete a resume, application and participate in a mock interview. #CollegeCareerLifeReady #PostSecondary
