Upon return from Spring Break is the MDE State Testing Dates for High Schools in Michigan. Please review the schedule below. Additional information is found in the Assessment Updates.


Schedule for the week of April 11-13 (There will not be WIN time)

Tuesday, April 11- Pre Admin.Meeting Period Scheduling.  Students grade 9-11 should report to Testing Room Assignments.  Seniors must report to the Sailor Center for Senior Class mtg. 

Wednesday, April 12 Testing all students in grades 9-11 start time is 7:45 am.

Ninth and tenth graders will finish testing at 11:30 am  and are dismissed for the day. Ninth and tenth grade parents plan to pick students up from school at that time.  Students that ride the bus will be served lunch from 11:30-12:30 pm, buses will depart at 12:35.

Eleventh graders will finish testing at 12:30 pm and can pick up a sack lunch from the cafeteria before dismissal.

Twelfth graders will meet at 7:45-10:45 am in the Sailor Center for the required CPR training.  Seniors will receive their caps and gowns from Jostens.

Thursday, April 13  All eleventh graders will take the ACT Workkeys.  Testing will take place in the Hanichen and Aux gym.  Grades 9,10 and 12 will follow their regular scheduled classes. 




 

 

 

Assessment Updates: 

SAT/PSAT Testing Day: April 12 for all students in grades 9-11. Please click here to review the schedule so that you may plan accordingly. It is important that all students are in attendance on this day. 

  • AP Tests: Students in advanced placement classes, if you plan to test and have not already signed up, please do so by seeing Mr. Higgs as soon as possible. All student test orders must be completed by March 15, 2023 (late fee assessed). 

  • Requesting of Transcripts: Colleges prefer that you send transcripts electronically. Please visit here and press ‘Order my Transcript’ to request a transcript. *Please remember it is FREE for current students to use the Parchment Electronic service.   

Students planning to take the May 6 SAT must submit their registration online by April 7.  Please visit the CollegeBoard website for more information.The basic fee for the SAT (no writing) is $55.

Senior Celebration information:

SENIORS - Sign up for the after graduation night celebration.  The cost is $75 for a fun night with your classmates. Sign up sheets are available in the front office or click on the link. Please make sure to fill out both pages and send to the address on the form or hand it in to the front office. This will be an awesome night to celebrate your graduation from Mona Shores.  Senior Celebration Post Grad Party Registration Form

Extended Day Program:

Monday - Thursday after school until 3:45 pm. Teachers and NHS tutors are available for support. Location is the HS Library Media Center. A great opportunity to work on collaborative projects, stay engaged in your learning and achieve your goals.

  • MS. Taylor Jones, Fresh Coast Counseling Clinician is available for students at MSHS. Taylor is a graduate of Grand Valley State University and is a licensed Social Worker. Taylor will be available for students and staff to provide therapeutic support during the school day. As well as, provide monthly mental health strategies and activities for students, staff and families.
