Thank you for your interest in Mona Shores Public Schools.  The Schools of Choice application for the 2024-25 school year is closed. The Schools of Choice Application for the 2025-26 school year opens on May 1 and is linked below, along with openings and how the process works.

The opportunity to submit an online non-resident Schools of Choice application is available May 1-30 each year. 

• You must submit an application during the application window to be considered for Schools of Choice.

• When you submit the application during the May 1-30 window has no bearing on acceptance.

• Applications are selected by a lottery according to the number of spots available in each grade level. 

• A separate application must be completed for each student. 

• The application will close at 11:59 pm on May 30, 2025.

Acceptance/denial letters are mailed on July 1.  Acceptance letters contain instructions for enrollment. 

• Students who do not complete enrollment by the deadline, and those who do not attend, must reapply for the following year.  

• Students with any suspensions or expulsions are not eligible to apply.

• Students with truancies may require a parent meeting with administration.
