The 7th Grade BLUE Volleyball Team crushed it last night with a big win over Fruitport! At the serving line, Emmy Petersen and Avery Reese were unstoppable—each blasting out three aces! Brooklyn Boelkins also kept the serves rolling strong!Up at the net, Emaree McCullough was on fire with a slick tip and a powerful kill! But one of the BEST moments of the night was watching everyone cheer on Kenna Young, who had her best game of the season—scoring with a serve, a tip, and pulling off the most AMAZING save at the net! Way to go, 7th grade Blue Team—and great luck tonight against Hudsonville at home!
Congratulations to the 8th grade White Volleyball team for putting a stomping to Fruitport in all three sets. Cece Schalk and Marlee Blackmer had a great night at the net with some amazing kills and blocks. EmmaLeah Smith played great defense and some awesome net play. Audrey Shaffer ran the floor both offensively and defensively for the sailors and Olive Schalk and Alethea Bement created many assists in the setting position. Every single girl contributed with hustle and grit to outperform the Trojans! Way to go ladies!

Attention all actors, musicians, and performers. It’s almost time for Mr. Closz to reveal the musical for this year’s Allegrettos performance! While you wait in anticipation for today’s announcement, know that on Friday after school there will be an informational meeting in the Choir Room from 2:45-3:30 to discuss the audition process and what to expect in the Allegrettos. Attention artists: Our annual yearbook cover design contest has begun. Please submit your color drawings or digital art to Mrs. Jablonski by Friday, October 10th. This year's theme is "The Sailor Experience". Please use plain white 8.5 x 11 paper or digital canvas. NO pencil drawings and NO lined paper submissions please. All artwork must be original (you cannot use any copyrighted images or material!) The top two drawings will be chosen to use for the front and back covers. The winners will get a free yearbook.
