Things have been busy in May. As a result, we have required your assistance for school events and field trips, and are very thankful for your willingness to partner with us for these experiences. As June approaches, please find the following information helpful.

Good News:
We were able to congratulate and celebrate the former LP CREW members who are part of the Mona Shores Graduating Class of 2026 last week! These Sailors walked the halls of LP one last time as our current LP CREW members cheered them on!
Today, we completed our recess Mileage Club. Students earned “toe tags” as they completed laps around our playground. Be sure to ask your student how many laps they have completed and look for their lanyard coming home! 4 complete laps is roughly 1 mile. Students are always highly motivated to set and reach individual goals with this great program. Thank you to the parent helpers who made this possible.
Office News:
Please avoid picking up students early unless necessary for an appointment. We have had a large number of students leaving early each day and wish to avoid unnecessary interruptions to the classroom when at all possible.
As a reminder, the office parking lot is reserved for students who have to be picked up and should not be blocked by the parent pick up line.
As we begin to prepare for next year, please alert your teacher or the office if you will not be returning to Lincoln Park.
Please remember that flip flops are not desired footwear for school.
Plan ahead for picking up all medications, inhalers, and EpiPens by the last day of school.

We are so very thankful for our PTO for the wonderful events they have sponsored this year, along with all the parent volunteers who have made these events possible. Thank you to our current board members: Lori Miller, Kia Rivera-Evans, Alyssa Holmes, and Nicole Jonas for their dedication all year long!
