Mona Shores High School is proud to announce that 50 of our rising juniors and seniors received National Recognition Awards from the College Board, the organization that manages and administers the SAT college readiness test and the Advanced Placement program. In order to qualify for these prestigious awards, students needed to meet the following criteria:
Take the PSAT/NMSQT in 10th or 11th grade, or the PSAT 10, and/or multiple AP exams by the end of 10th grade.
Earn a cumulative GPA of 3.3 (B+) or higher.
Be one of the top 10% of test takers in the high school or among first-generation college students in Michigan.
Or... Earn a score of 3 or better on 2 or more AP exams in 9th or 10th grade.
