Just before breaking for the winter holiday season, the Class of 2026 embarked on their annual tour of the Career Tech Center at the Muskegon Area ISD. This tour gives our sophomores a close look at the programs the facility has to offer. From construction trades and cosmotology to computer programming and auto repair, MSHS sophomores were able to investigate these programs just before they begin thinking about their class schedule for the 2024-25 school year. Should these sophomores be interested in the CTC, they would take morning classes alongside students from across Muskegon County. Mona Shores currently has over 120 juniors and seniors attending classes at the CTC for the 2023-24 school year. Participation in this program is part of a larger effort to encourage MSHS students to begin thinking about post-graduate careers early in their high school experience.
