October is College Application Month
There will be a Funding College 101 presentation for parents and/or students October 25 @ 6:30pm in the LMC. Topics covered will include: financial aid (FAFSA), scholarships, grants, loans, etc. Hope to see you there!
Also, many applications are still FREE through the end of the month!
SCAD, Michigan Tech, Wayne State and Oakland University will be in this week. Michigan State, Saginaw Valley State, Northwood and the University of Alabama will be in next week.
Come to the Counseling Office to sign up if you are interested in visiting with any of these college reps.
Muskegon Community College EXPO
October 28th is the MCC EXPO open house from 11-1. Staff from most academic departments will be there to meet with students and families to share information about their programs and classes. We will have lots of information about scholarships, financial aid, admissions, Muskegon & Newaygo Promise, giveaways, free pizza and much more! One lucky student who attends the open house will win a free two-year scholarship to attend MCC!
