Special Education

Mona Shores Public Schools is proud of the programs and services we provide to meet the needs of students with disabilities. We believe that a strong partnership between families and our school district is essential for the success of every student with special needs. Your insights and involvement are invaluable as we work together to create inclusive and supportive learning environments. We encourage you to reach out with any questions, concerns, or ideas you may have. Your collaboration helps us ensure your child receives the best possible education and all the support they need to thrive. We look forward to partnering with you.

Rules and guidelines for special education are not constant. The Special Education Parent Handbook serves as a tool to provide basic information, and includes the Procedural Safeguards.

If you have questions or concerns, please reach out to us. You can communicate with a member of your child’s education team, connect with one of our Special Education Parent Advocacy Committee (SEPAC) representatives, or contact one of our Special Education Administrators.
