On Monday, May 22nd in front of an impressive crowd of both Mona Shores and Reeths-Puffer fans, the Sailor girls soccer team secured their 6th straight conference title on a first half goal from sophomore Katie Phillips.  It was the latest chapter in a history of conference dominance the last six years.  Consider the following:

-  The Sailors have a 61-0-5 conference record in both the OK Green and OK Black divisions of the OK conference in the past six seasons.

-  They have outscored their opponents 357-20 over that span.

-  Of those 66 games, 50 of them have been shutouts.

Special thanks to Yearbook and Newspaper Advisor Warren Kent for crunching the numbers.  The ladies will take on Grand Haven in the opening round of districts on Wednesday, May 24 at 5:00 pm at Grand Haven High School.  Go Shores!
