We are thrilled to begin the 2025-2026 school year and  look forward to hearing the halls filled with the excited buzz of students!  The Churchill Team is ready to collaborate with staff, students, and families. We are inspired to create the best environment for our students and to serve all of you.

As the new principal of Churchill Elementary, I am excited to begin meeting you and learning along with you!  I have taken on various roles as an educator.  I started my educational career in Coopersville Public Schools as a paraprofessional in a classroom for students with autism and students who were cognitively impaired.  Next, I was hired by Spring Lake Public Schools as a part-time 7th grade technology teacher along with being a part-time special education resource room paraprofessional.  Then, in 2015, I began my journey as an elementary educator teaching 3rd and 4th grade at Holmes Elementary (Spring Lake Public Schools), where I have remained for the past 10 years.  

Our team has been working hard to ensure that the start of the 2025-2026 school year will be a fantastic one!  We are excited to welcome you back to Churchill.  Thank you for everything that you have done to prepare your child for this school year.  We look forward to partnering with you to provide the best learning experience for our students!  It’s going to be a great year!
