  • S'mores Awards for positive behaviors; top s'mores earners attend our Camp Leader Cafe, a monthly lunch with the principal, along with school-wide monthly celebrations

  • 3rd grade Michigan Musical program

  • Reading Buddies with varying grade levels

  • "Happy Campers" awards can be earned for positive behaviors as a classroom

  • 5th grade students running Field Day activities in June

  • Title I funds are used to provide individual and small group tutoring for kindergarten through 2nd grade students who are at-risk, during school hours

  • ​Strings program for 5th grade students through the middle school

  • Chromebooks for each student during their weekly technology class

  • Chromebooks are available for use throughout the week with teacher sign out

  • ​5th grade students vs. staff softball game in June

  • Girls on the Run is offered to 3rd-5th grade girls and ends with a 5k in mid-May

  • Mona Shores and Campbell are known for their participation with Destination Imagination (DI) with district teams that compete at the state, national and global level

  • Family Learning Night (FLN) - an evening of activities for families focused on making learning fun & giving parents ideas for ways to nurture continued learning at home through everyday activities

  • PTO – parent volunteers meet once a month to connect with the principal and a staff representative; various fundraising throughout the year provides many opportunities to support the students, staff and the community: library books, classroom materials, field trips, assemblies, accelerated reading tools, spirit days, various family events and activities, and a school carnival that is enjoyed by students, parents, and the community
