Girls on the Run is offered to 3rd-5th grade girls and ends with a 5k in mid-May
Mona Shores and Campbell are known for their participation with Destination Imagination (DI) with district teams that compete at the state, national and global level
Family Learning Night (FLN) - an evening of activities for families focused on making learning fun & giving parents ideas for ways to nurture continued learning at home through everyday activities
PTO – parent volunteers meet once a month to connect with the principal and a staff representative; various fundraising throughout the year provides many opportunities to support the students, staff and the community: library books, classroom materials, field trips, assemblies, accelerated reading tools, spirit days, various family events and activities, and a school carnival that is enjoyed by students, parents, and the community
