Schools of Choice Plan 

Thank you for your interest in Mona Shores Public Schools.  The application window for the 2021-22 school year has closed.  The application and availability for the 2022-23 school year will be posted on this page in May 2022. 

Application Process

The opportunity to submit an online non-resident Schools of Choice application is available each year in May. Only the students that apply during the application window will be considered for Schools of Choice.  A separate application must be completed for each student. 

Acceptance letters are mailed out to families that applied by the deadline in the first week of July of each year.  Students who are accepted will receive instructions on enrollment.  Students who fail to enroll by the enrollment deadline, and those who do not attend all year, must reapply for the following year.  Students with any suspensions or expulsions are not eligible to apply.  Students with truancies may require a parent meeting with administration.


Transportation is not included in the Mona Shores Schools of Choice Plan.
