Dear friends and families:

Lincoln Park Elementary welcomes Mrs. Gayla Powers as our Interim Principal until a new candidate is selected.  Interviews are being scheduled and a new Principal should be in place before the end of September. 

Mrs. Powers worked for Lincoln Park as their Teacher Consultant for many years.  She knows the building, the staff, and the students.  Mrs. Powers retired two years ago and enjoys spending time with her husband, Jim, and their grandchildren.  She was happy to return to her "family" away from home until a new Principal can be hired.
