Mona Shores High School consists of grades 9 through 12 with a 2006-07 enrollment of 1533 students. We are a Class A school and participate in the OK Green Conference. The school was built in 1962 with major renovations in 1995.

The staff at Mona Shores High School consists of:

  • 75 teachers and three counselors
  • instructional and student support staff: social worker, speech therapist, and paraprofessionals
  • office and building support staff: secretaries, food service, security personnel, bus drivers, custodial
  • 100% of MSHS teaching staff are highly qualified.

Mona Shores High School will use a data-driven school improvement process. This process incorporates and promotes a collegial approach in all departments. Goals have been established by reviewing data. Strategies for improved instruction and curriculum alignment were implemented as a result of identifying the strengths and weaknesses from that various assessment data. Common assessments have been created in every course with the data from these assessments being used to strengthen student achievement.
