Benefit enrollment takes place during the first 30 days of employment or annually during the Open Enrollment process.  Open Enrollment for all employees currently takes place October 1 - 31.  Please refer to your contract to determine which benefits are available to you.

Life Events

Changes to your benefits may be made mid-year when you experience a Life Event.  Enrollment changes must be made within 30 calendar days after the Life Event date.  If not completed within the 30 day time frame, changes will not be able to be made until Open Enrollment.

Life Event Examples:

  • Change in marital status
  • Birth, adoption of a dependent
  • Death of a dependent
  • Reduction or increase of hours of employment by the employee or spouse
  • Changes in the cost or coverage of benefits for employee or spouse
